MAINS RESPONSABILITIES
- Install equipment directly at customer sites.
- Provide advanced technical support for the use of fiber laser cutting systems, from pre-sales to installation, and deliver training to both internal staff and customers.
- Analyze and optimize cutting parameters to ensure optimal quality, increased productivity, and energy efficiency of laser cutting systems.
- Conduct on-site tests to evaluate equipment performance and identify potential improvements.
- Perform material trials to validate technical specifications.
- Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues and help them optimize the use of their laser systems by providing tailored recommendations.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to develop new laser application solutions, including adapting existing systems to meet specific customer needs.
- Write detailed reports on tests, cutting configurations, and recommendations for customers.
- Update technical documentation related to the application and maintenance of the systems.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in laser and cutting technologies, as well as new possible applications for our systems.
- Carry out adjustments and calibration of laser cutting machines to ensure maximum precision and optimal production results.
- Use and master nesting software to optimize material cutting, reduce waste, and maximize production profitability.
- Travel for installations and customer demonstrations.

REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Significant experience in the field of laser cutting systems.
- Strong knowledge of laser operating principles, cutting technologies, and the materials used in laser applications.
- Solid expertise in machine adjustment and calibration to ensure precise and reliable cutting performance.
- Experience in programming and configuring laser system parameters.
- Structured and scientific work methods when conducting tests.
- Ability to work with high-power fiber lasers (30 kW).
- Good understanding of the impact of assist gases on equipment performance and cutting quality.
- Proficiency in nesting software to optimize cutting processes and material utilization.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customers.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States.
- Valid driver’s license and passport (mandatory).
