Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

OCCU 6001.01: III Neurotherapeutics – Fall 2025

We are looking for up to eight part-time instructors (60 hours each/term). Under the guidance of the Course Instructor and Lab Coordinator, each Instructor will tutor and evaluate groups of students using problem and case-based learning in Occupational Therapy Skills Labs. Instructors will be required to be on-site on Thursdays from 12:00-3:45 pm. Tutors may be required to attend on-site special events labs or exams on alternative days with advanced notice. Other off-site preparation, marking and/or office hours may also be required. Tutors are required to attend an orientation session prior to the academic term (to be scheduled). As time permits, other duties may be required to assist with lab preparation and/or delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

An entry-to-practice qualification in occupational therapy and current registration as a licensed occupational therapist are required. A Masters degree is an asset. Excellent communication and organizational skills, and scheduling flexibility are required. Clinical experience in Neurorehabilitation (adults and/or pediatrics) is required. Technological access to the Brightspace platform will be required.

In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
