About the role
Alexandria Moulding is currently looking for an Rotating Shift Supervisor to join our VALUES based organization. The Rotating Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations at our Manufacturing/ Distribution plants. He/she will also direct, supervise and troubleshoot routine issues that occur at either plant. Ensure that Health and Safety policies and company policies are respected and followed.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Monitor and assess employee performance, providing feedback and support.
- Coach, mentor, and train employees to ensure success in their roles.
- Promote and enforce safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Coordinate production and distribution schedules to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure consistent application of the collective agreement’s terms and conditions.
- Address and resolve conflicts or miscommunications promptly and professionally.
- Maintain open communication with management, forepersons, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate daily production records.
- Monitor and report any Material Handling Equipment (MHE) issues, including accidents, safety concerns, or licensing matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service, to ensure smooth operations.
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Liaise with external clients, vendors, carriers, and drivers.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma (Grade 12) required.
- College or university diploma in Business, Customer Service, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and distribution processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is an asset.
- Industry knowledge in Millwork, Building Materials, Moulding, or Construction is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to work rotating shifts as required.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

- $58,000 to $68,000 per year based on experience
