Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division. GFT’s impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.

We are looking for a highly motivated Sr. Manager, Workforce Strategy.

This is an individual contributor role

What will you do?

As a Sr. Manager, Workforce Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end growth strategies, driving workforce planning, and managing workspace operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with business units and developing and implementing workforce strategies to drive business growth
  • Strategizing and driving recruitment efforts to meet business objectives
  • Working with GFT Supplier Management, hub teams and GFT pillars to achieve overall workforce strategy & growth targets
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition team to serve as the central business escalation point for all recruitment-related issues
  • Collaborating with Hiring Managers to understand talent needs and provide updates on recruitment progress
  • Analyzing data to inform workforce planning and decision-making
  • Managing workspace operations, including conflict resolution and localized planning for return-to-office initiatives

Must-have

  • Ability to analyze data and inform decision-making
  • Strong Critical thinking, strategic thinking mindset, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work through ambiguity.
  • Workforce planning, workspace management skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong experience with change management initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in IT or financial services industry
  • Tableau, Advanced Excel
  • Familiarity with workforce analytics and planning tools
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with workforce analytics and planning tools
