About the role

Trackunit is a fast-growing company and a leading supplier of IoT solutions, operating out of many offices worldwide. Trackunit specializes in digital solutions that connect machines, people, and systems in the global construction industry. The construction industry is the least digitalized industry of all. This lack of digitalization has left construction far behind a global economy on the rise and placed the industry as one of the least productive industries too.

We are looking for...

At Trackunit, we’re on a mission to eliminate downtime and build the most useful industry for the world. As our Field Marketing Manager, North America , you’ll work closely with our mid-market and contractor teams, delivering regional marketing programs that fuel growth, accelerate deals, and deepen customer relationships across the U.S. and Canada.

In this high-impact role, you’ll partner closely with the Director, Field Marketing (North America). Commercial and Customer Success leaders, as well as the General Manager for North America, to design and execute initiatives that position Trackunit as the trusted partner for construction contractors and mid-market firms.

With locations in the hearts of London, ON and Kitchener, ON we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from one of our locations or remotely from anywhere in Ontario. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Your mission

Take the lead on marketing to mid-market accounts and contractors in North America, building programs that connect with field operators, project managers, and business leaders. You’ll design and execute integrated campaigns, events, and education-led initiatives that generate pipeline, expand adoption, and amplify Trackunit’s presence in the contractor ecosystem.

What’s in it for you?

  • A place in an agile growth SaaS business , with possibilities to grow internally in the company. We are moving quickly, so fasten your seat belt and prepare to adjust. Back in 2020 we were 150 employees at Trackunit and we have just passed 450 employees.
  • International environment with regular check-ins and social events across teams, departments and borders.
  • We take your personal and professional development goals seriously and we support them through training, coaching and mindfulness as well as with an open feedback culture to enable you to identify your strengths and opportunities. We do this by touching upon your impact on our triple focus: impacting yourself, impacting teams/relations and impacting the organisation/strategy.
  • Flexibility and hybrid working is not just a cliché to us or something we state in a job posting. We do offer you a flexible setup and believe that you best can structure how your routines look like. And once you have chosen how you work best, let us know what you need: we got you covered with the IT equipment you need for your work.

We only assess candidates on their qualifications and merit. Learn more about TIDE and other DE&I initiatives here.

Who are you ideally ?

You’re a strategic, hands-on marketer who thrives on turning global strategy into regional programs that resonate locally. You’re excited to be close to the customer, shaping initiatives that drive measurable pipeline impact with contractors and mid-market firms.

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within SaaS, IoT, or enterprise technology.
  • Experience leading field marketing or demand-generation programs with measurable pipeline impact.
  • Strong background in events, digital campaigns, ABM, and community or partner marketing.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to align marketing to business outcomes.

  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment.
  • Willing and able to travel across North America for contractor-focused events, conferences, and engagements.

Don't meet every single requirement? No worries - this is what we're looking for ideally, but if you're super excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Segment ownership: Serve as the dedicated marketing partner for North America’s Mid-Market and Contractor segments, translating commercial priorities into tailored programs.
  • Fuel pipeline & revenue: Build and activate demand-generation programs across digital, in-person, and partner-led activities to create opportunities and accelerate existing deals.
  • Local account-based marketing: Lead targeted campaigns designed for contractors and mid-market firms, focusing on relevance and practical value.
  • Champion regional events: Own execution of customer-facing events like industry trade shows, regional contractor roundtables, and hands-on product demos, ensuring best-in-class experiences.

  • Co-market with partners: Build joint initiatives with technology and channel partners that target contractors and mid-market firms.
  • Budget ownership: Manage segment-level budgets to maximize ROI and ensure alignment with commercial goals.
  • Regional collaboration: Coordinate with global Marketing peers to align on priorities, share best practices, and deliver consistency across markets.

Our hiring process

Don't waste your time on writing the best possible cover letter for the job. We want you to create an impact that matters, and that's not in the cover letter.

  • Virtual meet and greet. Meet with the hiring manager
  • Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. Our Hogan assessment enables us to understand your abilities and how you align with our team culture. Instead of seeking 'appropriate' responses, the priority is to develop a meaningful exchange that illustrates your synergy with the Trackunit team.
  • Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the concrete work tasks or projects related to the role. You will be given a case to prepare prior to the interview, and at the interview, you will present the case to relevant colleagues from across Trackunit, who you’ll also work closely with in the job.
  • If needed, throughout the process we will obtain references from former employers and do background checks for level specific, if you have not provided these yourself.
  • Offer presentation and walk-through. We’re lucky to have you!

The question is: Are you in?
