As the production supervisor for paint and machining, you will lead a team of operators responsible for painting and machining all products manufactured at CMC. These products are found in some of the most advanced aircraft in both the commercial and military sectors. You will be responsible for achieving delivery and quality objectives established by your Manufacturing Manager while fostering a high level of engagement within your team.
As production supervisor for paint and machining**, your key responsibilities include:**

Analyze and plan monthly work schedules and equipment maintenance to meet delivery objectives

Align your team to achieve departmental performance indicators, such as reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and ensure customer satisfaction
-
Establish and maintain a motivating, healthy, and safe work environment for your team
-
Oversee the recruitment, training, development, and management of your team
-
Ensure prompt resolution of production issues and communicate any delivery impacts to customer groups
-
Support production process improvement initiatives and lead continuous improvement projects within your department
-
Report on order progress to the Manufacturing Manager and Program Manager
To succeed in this role, you must:
-
Hold at least a university certificate in operations management or a DEC combined with relevant experience
-
Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the paint or machining field, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory role
-
Be bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
-
Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows tools
