The Role: As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical engineering projects with a strong focus on quality, safety, compliance, and client satisfaction. You’ll be the go-to technical expert on your team, providing mentorship, guidance, and hands-on support to ensure successful project delivery.
In this role, you’ll act as Project Manager on single-discipline projects and collaborate with the internal project management team on multi-disciplinary efforts. You’ll also contribute to the business side of engineering—writing proposals, abstracts, and technical reports that support continued growth and client trust.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, execute, and complete Electrical Engineering projects ensuring high quality, optimized, and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, relevant industry codes, and regulations such as Ontario Building Code, Ontario Electrical Safety Code, and NFPA standards.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
- Act as Project Manager for single discipline projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Department on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Prepare proposals, project abstracts, and technical reports.
- Uphold company values and contribute to building strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering license with PEO (other provincial registrations are considered an asset).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience as an Engineer within an Engineering Consulting firm.
- Industrial, Commercial, and Residential building design experience is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of power and lighting systems design.
