Paradox Access Solutions is growing! We are seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our team!

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Permanent

SALARY: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

LOCATION: Acheson, AB

SCHEDULE: **8:00AM-4:30PM,**10/4 Rotation (24/7 on-call availability during rotations)

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE (RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all dispatch-related communications.
  • Organize trucking services and dispatch-related requests through calls and emails.
  • Transmit messages to drivers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely coordination of trucking services to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery schedules.
  • Monitor and track the progress of trucking services, addressing delays or issues.
  • Provide updates on delivery status and address customer inquiries.
  • Take appropriate action in response to unexpected issues or changes in project plans.
  • Utilize technical proficiency for efficient data entry and communication.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? (REQUIREMENTS)

  • Proven experience in dispatching materials and/or equipment is an asset.
  • Familiarity with trucking operations and logistics is considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication in a diverse work environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions using sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Technical proficiency, including fast typing and data entry skills.
  • Highly proficient in English (oral and written).
  • Willingness to work a 10/4 schedule rotation with on-call availability 24/7 during rotations.
