About the role

Our Digitization and Automation Team within Global Wealth and Asset Management is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, team-oriented Business Analyst who has a passion for solving problems, gathering requirements, and finding creative solutions while always having the customer at the forefront of their thinking. This role will focus on automation activities, working closely with stakeholders and technical team members to create various solutions, including apps, cloud and on-premise automations, internal websites, and other low-code solutions. Applicants require background and experience in analytical roles, a proven ability to work closely with various stakeholders, and a strong desire to learn what is needed to support the business properly.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Gathering requirements for low-code initiatives, including current/future state mapping, gap analysis, and prototyping
  • Creating UAT strategies and test plans, performing regular QA testing, and leading stakeholders through guided UAT sessions
  • Initiating, leading and supporting automation projects
  • Working directly with technical team members, building, enhancing, and supporting low-code solutions
  • Proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies
  • Building solutions with best practices in mind (scalable solutions with a solid architecture using both global and Manulife standards)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the products and systems in the Manulife Investment Management business
  • Previous Business Analyst experience
  • Previous experience working with low-code tools
  • Previous experience with Microsoft products, including M365, Power Platform, and Azure
  • Previous experience working with APIs and reading API documentation
  • Previous experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Previous experience leading projects from inception to delivery

Working Arrangement

Salary range is expected to be between

$62,850.00 CAD - $104,750.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
