Where you’ll be: This position will be based in the Mississauga, ON, hybrid work policy model.

All About the Role: The Director of Commercialization and BI leads the merchandising, assortment, pricing, and forecasting strategy that drives revenue, margin, and market performance for the Canadian business. This role partners with cross‑functional and North American teams to turn insights into strong commercial plans, ensure accurate demand and supply alignment, support successful product launches, and optimize inventory. The director also develops high‑performing teams and strengthens analytical and operational capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of merchandising strategies that drive revenue, margin, and category growth across the Canadian business.
  • Oversee the integrated planning process, aligning demand forecasting, supply planning, retailer inventory needs, and new product introductions.
  • Partner with cross‑functional and North American teams to connect insights, analytics, and market trends to commercial plans and go‑to‑market execution.
  • Drive assortment, pricing, promotions, and retail activation strategies to ensure strong marketplace positioning and brand architecture.
  • Build and validate market‑based forecasts, including projections for new product launches that reflect share assumptions and inventory requirements.
  • Enhance Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to improve forecast accuracy, speed‑to‑market, product mix, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams across Merchandising and Planning, strengthening analytical, commercial, and operational capabilities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure robust demand forecasting practices supported by statistical analytics, historical performance, and inventory flow modeling.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in Merchandising, Business Analytics, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Inventory Management, or Product Commercialization.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial results and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, influencing cross‑functional partners, and managing complex planning processes.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic problem‑solving capabilities.
