Quality Manager (Site)
FLY IN / FLY OUT rotation (21 days on / 7 days off) – project located in Kangiqsujuaq

Seguin Morris oversees the construction, installation, maintenance, and dismantling of telecommunications infrastructure. We also provide antenna and cellular line calibration, 4G and 5G mobile technology deployment, shelter installation, fiber optic cabling, line sweeping, and more. Our experienced teams are accustomed to working with helicopters and in remote, difficult-to-access locations.
Our technical expertise, combined with ultra-precise logistics and project management systems, ensures flawless execution while meeting timelines and budgets. We provide 24/7 on-call services to a wide range of clients across Canada.
Position Summary
The Quality Manager is a key contributor on site. Present daily in the field, this role ensures that work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, applicable standards, and contractual requirements.
The Quality Manager validates the implementation of the quality plan, conducts regular verifications, oversees inspections and testing activities, and acts promptly when a non-conformance is identified. Working closely with foremen, technical teams, and subcontractors, the role integrates quality requirements directly into daily execution.
This is a hands-on, action-oriented position focused on preventing deviations, correcting issues quickly, and ensuring work is done right the first time.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality System Management

Approve and ensure the implementation of the site quality plan.

Notify the client prior to activities subject to hold or witness points.

Ensure inspections and testing are carried out in accordance with the quality plan.

Ensure calibration of measuring and testing equipment.
-
Update drawings and specifications following changes (QMT or client requests).
Non-Conformance Management

Issue non-conformance reports and ensure follow-up until resolution.

Review, transmit, and track QMTs and NCRs (DDT).

Oversee site verifications and document results within the quality plan.
Coordination and Supervision

Orient and guide subcontractors regarding applicable quality requirements.

Supervise quality inspection personnel, when applicable.
-
Supervise VPO activities, as required.
-
Ensure red-line drawings are completed progressively as work advances.
Documentation and Compliance

Complete or ensure completion of inspection and work instruction forms.

Approve completed inspection and control forms.

Prepare and maintain the quality dossier in alignment with project progress.
Profile Sought
-
Relevant education in civil engineering, construction, mechanical, electrical, or a related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in site quality control.

Available for FLY IN / FLY OUT rotation (21 days on / 7 days off) – project located in Kangiqsujuaq (Northern Quebec).

Strong knowledge of construction standards and contractual requirements.

High level of rigor, organization, and autonomy.

Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders (client, subcontractors, internal teams).

Strong documentation and administrative follow-up skills.
