Centralized Services Manager
Reports to: Director, Collision Centres
Job Summary The Centralized Services Manager plays an integral role in Birchwood Collision Group, achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction during the repair process. The successful candidate will oversee the Parts Procurement team and Production Administrators team focusing on ordering parts and monitoring parts inventory for the Collision Centre. This position is a leadership role with the expectation that the chosen candidate will act as a mentor to the parts procurement team and production administration within the Birchwood Collision Centre.
Responsibilities
- Support staff within the Birchwood Collision Centre with training and development opportunities to ensure ongoing professional growth.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, balancing production schedules, quality control, and customer delivery timelines.
- Ensure proper procurement and management of autobody parts, coordinating with the procurement team to guarantee timely availability and efficient inventory management.
- Work closely with the parts and supply teams to ensure that the right parts are ordered and delivered on time, without overstocking or delays.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the parts procurement and administration team, fostering a positive and supportive environment that prioritizes both individual growth and team success.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on improving performance and fostering team collaboration.
- Knowledge of the entire autobody repair and production cycle, including parts installation, quality control, and repair processes.
- Experience in managing the procurement and supply chain for autobody parts and materials, ensuring timely availability without overstocking.
- Ability to collaborate with procurement teams to ensure accurate forecasting and procurement of parts in alignment with repair schedules.
- Positive attitude with a demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
- A commitment to learning and professional development
- Comfortable leveraging technology for most day-to-day- functions
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and transportation to and from work are required.
