Course Description
Theories and models of evaluation as applied to educational programs and instructional systems. Current theories of aligning assessment with curriculum and instruction goals based on the cognitive competencies required in specific practices.
Additional Information:
Effective dates of appointment are December 29, 2025 to May 1, 2026. Course dates are January 5, 2026 to April 14, 2026. This course will be offered in-person on campus at McGill.

Education
- PhD or PhD candidate in Educational Psychology, Psychology or equivalent
Experience
- Theoretical knowledge of evaluation models
- Applied experience in program evaluation
- Knowledge and applied experience in assessment of learning principles and their application
Other
- Adherence to evolving program requirements concerning course content and program-developed competencies; course content and references must reflect the most current advances in the field.
