Role Summary: The Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchase process, from initial greeting to final delivery. This role requires a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust while providing expert product knowledge. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is motivated to achieve sales goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Welcome customers to the dealership, listen attentively to their needs, and create a positive, stress-free buying experience.

Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, and community engagement activities.

Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the vehicles we offer, including features, pricing, incentives, and promotions.

Sales Process: Guide customers through the sales process, including test drives, trade-in evaluations, and presenting financing or leasing options in collaboration with the Finance & Insurance team.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Goal Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction expectations.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, service, and finance departments to ensure a seamless and professional customer experience.

Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities relevant to the position as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the automotive industry preferred (training provided for the right candidate).

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.

Proven ability to build rapport, establish trust, and deliver exceptional service.

Results-driven with a high level of initiative and motivation.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Comfortable with technology, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
