The Salary Range for this position is $63,900 - $95,900 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailedsite plans, grading plans, and servicing designsincluding watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems for land development projects.
• Develop**Civil 3D surfaces and Digital Terrain Models (DTMs)**using topographic survey data.
• UtilizeAutoCAD Civil 3Dto designpipe networks, profiles, alignments, and corridors.
• Interpret and incorporateredline markupsfrom senior engineers and project managers into finalized drawings.
• Maintain and adhere to companyCAD standards, templates, and layering conventions.
• Undertakepre-design site reconnaissanceand assist in field reviews.
• Assist withquantity take-offs, cost estimates, and preparation of tender documents and specifications.
• Support the preparation offunctional servicing reports and stormwater management reports.
• Developsite plans using AutoCADfor design, specification, and tendering purposes.
• Designnew and existing parking layoutsin accordance with client needs and municipal/jurisdictional standards.
• Assist Project Managers and Practice Leaders with:
  • Monitoring and updatingproject scope, quantities, budgets, and schedulesfor asphalt pavement construction projects.
  • Coordinating with clients and contractors forPre-Tender, Pre-Construction, and Close-Out meetings.
• Performperiodic site observationsto:
  • Review contractor submissions
  • Prepare and submitfield observation reportsto clients
• Support asphalt pavement projects by:
  • Assist in Designing and preparingdrawings, specifications, and tender/construction documents
  • Assisting inpavement condition assessments and technical reporting
• Participate in thetendering and contract administration process, including:
  • Evaluating submitted bids forpricing and complianceand providing recommendations
  • Responding to contractor inquiries during the bidding phase
  • IssuingContemplated Change Notices (CCNs), Change Orders (COs), and Change Directives (CDs)
  • Reviewing forsubstantial completion, identifying deficiencies, and coordinating resolution
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensureaccurate, efficient, and timely project delivery.
