About Southern Irrigation
Southern Irrigation is a family owned and operated business that has been providing exceptional service to our clients for the last 25 years. Bert Oostenbrink, the founder, started selling drip irrigation products in Southern Alberta for residential turf and shelterbelts. In 1987 Bert moved his family to Chilliwack and started Southern Drip Irrigation ltd. With a staff of two, Southern Drip Irrigation started out by selling irrigation products to the local nurseries, greenhouses and dairies. Since those days Southern Irrigation has evolved into a multi-faceted company with seven locations that does not sell just "drip" but everything related to transporting water. Southern Irrigation is involved in all kinds of projects including: sewer, drainage, municipal, golf, commercial greenhouses, SDI, pivot irrigation (BC only), dust control, water treatment, and fire suppression. Today, five of Bert's sons: Jeff, Mitch, Alfred, Albert, and Frank, are employed in the company, and the grandchildren are anxious to begin. Thanks to all our customers for your support. You are the backbone of our success. It reinforces our motto, "WWW: WORK hard, WIN as a team, WOW our customers".
