King’s Community Support Centre (KCSC) Clinical Supervisor – Contract Posting

DESCRIPTION:
The KCSC Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for:
-
Providing ongoing social work practice education, clinical support and evaluation to Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work students within the KCSC.

Providing immediate crisis response/support to the KCSC students adhering to the Standards of Practice of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
-
Assisting with program development and related administrative functions for the KCSC
-
Developing and delivering social work practice education and training on various clinical issues and related modalities (e.g., module-based education).
-
Providing weekly clinical supervision to KCSC students (individually and in a group format) as per accreditation requirements.
-
Providing support to the ongoing development of the KCSC such as the development and implementation of clinical processes, policies and guidelines to ensure compliance for professional social work practice and service delivery.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (unless identified as preferred):
The successful candidate will have:

A Master’s Degree in Social Work.

Active membership with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
-
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
-
Clinical/direct practice experience including a range of theoretical/evidence-based interventions and modalities.
-
Proficiency in a broad range of social work contexts.
-
Experience with clinical supervision models and formats.
-
Experience with Social Work evaluation and required competencies at both a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work levels
-
Demonstrated experience applying EDID and anti-oppressive frameworks within clinical supervision or mentorship.
-
Proven ability to provide trauma-informed supervision and evaluations to a diverse student body.
-
Skilled in teaching students to decenter Eurocentric models in favor of culturally diverse therapeutic approaches.
-
Experience navigating systemic barriers and advocating for students in marginalized communities.
-
Knowledge of community resources and system navigation.
-
Experience with crisis response and respective interventions/protocols.
-
Excellent skills and experience related to communication, problem solving and priortizing work with competing demands.
-
This role will require signficant flexibility in scheduling and availability and may require clinical supervsion outside of the regular work week schedule (evenings and weekends).
TYPE OF JOB:
Full Time – 35 hours per week (2-year contract)
Please note: Due to the nature of the position, the position requires the incumbent to work flexible hours including but not limited to evenings and weekends.
EFFECTIVE DATE:
June 15, 2026
SALARY RANGE:
PSG 14 - $78,572 - $98,383 – per annum dependent on experience
