Role Description
This full-time, on-site Welder role is based at Nuvo Iron™'s facility in Bolton, ON. The Welder will fabricate and assemble iron fence and ornamental components using various welding techniques, following technical drawings, specs, and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, performing quality welds, inspecting finished products, and completing basic repairs or rework as needed. The role involves working closely with production and quality teams, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and meeting daily production targets while adhering to company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess welding skills.
- Relevant skills such as reading and interpreting blueprints, using measuring tools, and performing quality inspections are beneficial.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment, along with familiarity with safety regulations and PPE, is preferred.
- Certification in welding or completion of a recognized welding program is an asset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work as part of a production team is required.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Willingness to learn new processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
