Overview CANDIDATE PROFILE: The successful candidate will be a results-oriented manager who can multitask and show initiative in a fast-paced environment, by providing best in class service and results to the HCM, applicants, associates and partners. SCOPE OF POSITION: Responsible to develop, manage and execute all recruiting, onboarding, policies, procedures, budgets and long-range planning for the assigned area. Manage the day-to-day operations, planning and execution of our full cycle recruitment and on boarding process. Responsible for “best in class” recruitment, hiring, processing and employee relations to ensure Canada’s Wonderland remains the employer of choice. We also offer some fun perks like passes to the Park for friends and family.SALARY: $85,000/annually Responsibilities Responsible to plan and execute scheduling, training, processes and procedures for HR recruitment and onboarding/processing teams as well as business partners across all Divisions Analyze historical trends and future projections to create forecasting and statistics related to recruitment Work with WFM to ensure wages and projections for staffing/requisitions are in line with business needs Manage the recruiting, hiring, pre-boarding and onboarding processes Monitor productivity of recruitment and processing teams and provide feedback to operating divisions and General Manager Assist with budget preparations and monitoring and all purchasing for area Ensure job descriptions, wages, park orientation, on-boarding tasks and related training are updated as required Execute weekly updates with statistics and analytics compared to prior years Stay current on employment systems, trends, rates, advertising and social media Coordinate with IT (in Park and Corporate) all necessary resources including resolving any issues with systems or other resources to ensure recruitment and processing efforts run smoothly and effectively Build solid working relationships with outside agencies, non-profit organizations, high schools, and post-secondary institutions Promotion of diversity and inclusivity in attracting and hiring candidates Participate in Duty Manager schedule during our park operation Be an active team member on multiple corporate initiatives as assigned Ensure all reasonable requests for accommodation throughout the recruitment, hiring and employment processes are provided to candidates/associates as needed Qualifications Post-secondary education in Human Resources and/or related field from accredited college/university Proven recruitment and systems experience in a high-volume diverse environment Experience with online recruitment and social media advertising Advanced MS Office skills with Microsoft products and HRIS expertise Knowledge of budgets, forecasting, statistics and reporting a must Strong ability to work independently, lead and partner in cross-functional teams Five + years relevant experience working in a leadership role with proven initiative that drives change Strong analytical skills, creative thinking, critical reasoning and intellectual curiosity Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate clearly and persuasively both verbally and in writing Proven in person and virtual training experience with program development, execution and facilitation Comprehensive understanding of federal, provincial and local employment regulations including AODA, ESA and Human Rights Ability to work odd shifts, most weekends and holidays
