We’re partnering with a well-established small animal practice in Airdrie, just north of Calgary, that is looking to add a skilled and collaborative DVM to its team. This clinic is deeply rooted in the community and known for its long-standing client relationships, supportive culture, and commitment to quality care.
The Practice
This is a busy, well-run general practice with a loyal client base and a team that truly enjoys working together. The atmosphere is friendly and professional, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and doing right by both patients and clients.
The clinic is well equipped and designed to support efficient, high-quality medicine, allowing veterinarians to practice confidently and independently while still having support when needed.
The Role
This opportunity is best suited to a veterinarian with 2–5 years of clinical experience who is comfortable and confident performing surgery. You will be expected to handle routine and intermediate soft-tissue procedures independently and contribute meaningfully to the practice’s surgical caseload.
Key responsibilities include
Providing comprehensive medical care in a general practice setting Performing routine and advanced soft-tissue surgeries with confidence Managing dental procedures and dental surgery Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients Collaborating closely with a supportive veterinary and technical team
Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Alberta.
What We’re Looking For
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) 2–5 years of experience in small animal general practice Strong surgical and dental skills Confident clinical decision-making and case management A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
