We have an exciting independent contractor opportunity for Broadcast Advertising Sales, AccessNOW radio in Regina, SK.

In this position you will be responsible for building a portfolio of accounts aimed at growing revenues in broadcast advertising for AccessNOW Radio. Tasked with prospecting, conducting impactful sales presentations, closing deals, and offering exceptional service to meet customer needs, ultimately striving to achieve or surpass assigned sales goals.

Scope of Services 

This will be an Independent Contractor Agreement and outlines the scope of services to be provided by the Independent Contractor.

  1. Summary of Services

The Independent Contractor will provide radio advertising sales services on a commission-based basis, focused on generating advertising revenue for the Co‑operative’s broadcast operations. The Contractor is responsible for sourcing prospective clients, presenting advertising solutions, negotiating and securing advertising commitments, and maintaining professional client relationships.

The Contractor’s success under this Agreement is directly tied to their ability to independently generate new business opportunities, close advertising sales, and grow advertising revenue aligned with client marketing goals and the Co‑operative’s broadcast strategy.

  1. Scope of Services

The Independent Contractor will perform the following services:

  • Independently identify, pursue, and develop new radio advertising sales opportunities with local businesses, organizations, and community partners.
  • Negotiate and secure advertising agreements, including pricing, terms, and performance expectations, in accordance with approved rate structures and policies.
  • Prepare and present radio advertising proposals, pricing quotes, and customized advertising packages to prospective clients.
  • Recommend radio advertising strategies that align with client marketing objectives and maximize the effectiveness and reach of broadcast platforms.
  • Build and maintain professional client relationships to encourage repeat advertising, renewals, and account growth.
  • Ensure all required advertising documentation is accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner, including contracts, agreements, and supporting materials.
  • Provide sales activity reports and results information as reasonably requested for business tracking and revenue reporting purposes.
  • Manage multiple clients, sales opportunities, and administrative responsibilities concurrently in a professional and organized manner.
  • Handle confidential client and business information with care and discretion.
  • Collaborate, as needed, with internal broadcast operations or community engagement contacts for coordination purposes only, without creating an employment or supervisory relationship.
  1. Work Location and Availability

The services will primarily be performed within city limits of Regina and surrounding areas as determined by the Contractor.

The Contractor is responsible for their own scheduling and availability.

Occasional evening or community event attendance may be undertaken at the Contractor’s discretion where it supports relationship development or promotional opportunities.

  1. Independent Contractor Relationship

The Contractor performs the services as an independent contractor, not as an employee, agent, or partner of the Co‑operative.

The Contractor retains control over the manner and means of performing the services, subject only to the objectives and standards outlined in the Agreement.

Nothing in this Agreement creates an entitlement to employment benefits, guaranteed hours, or exclusivity.
