SALARY STARTS AT $58,000 *Dependent on experience FULL-TIME HOURS: Average 5 shifts per week 8-hour shifts between 8:00am and 5:00pm Evening and weekend will be required (every other weekend) WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The Assistant Manager, Lodging Maintenance and Public Spaces sets the cultural tone that creates revolutionary guest experiences while uniting their team around purpose and fun. This leader supports the daily operation and maintenance of the Village Suite Hotels as well as cleanliness of the Blue Mountain operated lodges, retail locations, public washrooms, and resort office spaces. This role leads and supports employees, coordinates maintenance and housekeeping activities, and ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality operations that enhance the guest and employee experience. Overseeing the daily cleanliness and presentation of Blue Mountain operated lodges, rentals, retail locations, public washrooms, and office spaces, ensuring service standards are consistently met. Coordinating maintenance activities, limited to Village Suites Hotels by prioritizing work orders, monitoring out-of-order rooms, inspecting completed work, and ensuring repairs and preventative maintenance are completed effectively. Acting as a key contact for assigned internal and third-party property agreements, ensuring maintenance obligations, preventative maintenance programs, and special projects are executed to standard. Overseeing administrative functions supporting maintenance operations, including purchasing, inventory control, invoicing, contractor coordination, and reporting. Communicating expectations through daily briefings, scheduling, performance feedback, and ongoing training. Ensuring compliance with health and safety, emergency, regulatory, and quality standards while promoting a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? At least 3-5 years of Supervisory level experience with training, coaching and performance management experience.
