Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Repair Assembly Technician is responsible for assembly of Company equipment. In addition, the successful incumbent will assist with stocking requirements by ensuring product is properly identified and put away.
Primary Duties:
- Assemble valve and wellhead equipment
- Pick and distribute material for storage or shipping
- Assist with stocking inventory requirements by ensuring product is properly identified and put away
- Assist with customer property repairs
- Organize and maintain the work area, including maintenance/inspections of equipment, product storage containers and racking
- Complete deliveries to work sites as required
- Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies
- Occasional yard maintenance work
- Other related duties as assigned
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- High School Diploma, supplemented with 1-2 years of related warehouse experience
- Mechanical assembly/repair experience
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset
- Computer skills using MS Office or ERP system
- Knowledge of Stream-Flo Industries and/or competitors equipment would be an asset
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Good communication (oral and written)
- Detail oriented, strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver license along with a reliable vehicle
