Air Canada is seeking a Technical Product Manager – Marketing Technology Platforms to lead the strategy, evolution, and delivery of core platforms that power offers management, digital marketing, experimentation, personalization, and campaign execution across the organization.
This role sits at the intersection of product management, data, and engineering, and is responsible for shaping the roadmap and architecture of internal marketing platforms used by teams across Digital, Marketing, Analytics, and Loyalty.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical understanding with strong product leadership, and is comfortable driving complex platform initiatives that enable scalable experimentation, faster marketing activation, and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term product strategy and roadmap for Air Canada’s marketing technology platforms supporting experimentation, personalization, and campaign activation.
- Lead the evolution of internal marketing platforms that enable marketing teams to launch campaigns, test experiences, and activate audiences across digital channels.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform scalability, usability, and adoption across marketing and digital teams.
- Drive end-to-end product delivery from discovery and concept through launch and adoption.
- Translate business and marketing needs into scalable platform capabilities and technical requirements.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, technical feasibility, and organizational priorities.
- Lead cross-department collaboration to ensure platform capabilities support experimentation, personalization, and campaign optimization at scale.
- Influence stakeholders across multiple teams to align product direction and resolve competing priorities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical architecture and integration patterns across marketing platforms, data infrastructure, and customer engagement systems.
- Ensure platform capabilities integrate with key technologies such as customer data platforms, experimentation tools, analytics platforms, and marketing activation systems.
- Define success metrics for platform adoption, marketing velocity, and experimentation effectiveness.
- Monitor usage and impact across internal teams and continuously iterate to improve platform value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, platform development, or technical leadership roles.
- Experience building or managing internal platforms, marketing technology systems, or digital experimentation infrastructure.
- Strong technical background with familiarity in web platforms, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud architectures.
- Experience building or managing products leveraging Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to power personalization, experimentation, and cross-channel customer engagement
- Experience working with analytics, experimentation frameworks, or customer data platforms.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, data, marketing, and design teams.
- Experience defining product roadmaps and delivering complex platform capabilities.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into product strategy.
- Experience working in Agile environments with engineering teams.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
