Key Responsibilities
Compile orders and instructions received from customers
Organize tasks to accomplish assigned work Oversee and plan the operational logistics of the organization Track and complete work orders in a timely manner Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments Prepare and submit operational and progress reports Arrange for maintenance and repair work as required Maintain work records and operational logs Organize warehouse and work areas to ensure efficiency Perform general office and administrative duties Resolve work-related issues, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Compile worksheets and specifications for customer orders Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units Monitor production progress and follow up on work orders Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries Conduct performance reviews and coordinate, assign, and review work Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed Communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations Keep track of shipments and organize inventory records
Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in freight forwarding Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) certification is considered an asset Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
