This Night Shift Manager hours will be 10:00PM - 6:30AM.
The first 6 months will work a rotating shift for training on all shifts so as to be able to sub for vacations. After that will be Full - Time Nights. There will be occasional Saturday work for which you will recieve 1.5 time or comp time.
The Night Shift Manager is responsible for the completion of production work orders in the right time, quantity and
quality. This role ensures smooth and safe operations and is the first contact person in case of technical issues in the
manufacturing area. Another purpose of this role is to continuously develop the subordinates in close cooperation
with the Manufacturing Coach.
Key Reponsibilities:
1.Ensure an efficient fulfillment of the planned orders by the defined deadline.

Responsible for the analysis of deviation in the manufacturing process compared to the standard and propose measures to reach manufacturing targets (OEE, HC).

Responsible for the availability of qualified headcount to ensure the targeted quality delivery level.

Responsible for the observance of all defined standards in regards to EHS, manufacturing, legal complicance (work time, breaks, etc.).

Support the continuous improvement of all manufacturing process with the support of lean management tools.

First level support for technical issues on the manufacturing equipment.

Leading a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention, and safe working environment across the business.

Fulfill assigned primary, secondary, and/or terciary deputy/back-up roles as required on occasion by the business.
Education and Experience
Education Requirements:
Trained Technician (Machine Building, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or the like)
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Manufacturing area
- Automotive Experience
- Experience with JIT production
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Excellent people leadership skills
Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques and implementation of these
Very good communication skills with all levels
Technical understanding
Working knowledge of MS Office
Compensation
Salary ranges from $68,000 to $77,000 based on experience.
