About the role

Wildstone is a General Contractor currently looking for a Journeyperson Plumber to join our Mechanical team. Here are the types of projects we work on – Wastewater/Water Treatment Plants, Energy and institutional projects, new multi-family builds, and commercial builds.

This is a fly-in / fly-out position. You’ll travel for work to locations throughout BC, the Yukon and occasionally the Northwest Territories. Our crews typically work 21/7 rotations, travel in and out of various locations, work 10-hour shifts on average. Responsibilities:

  • Build, assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems.

  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications.

  • Layout equipment and pipe routes.

  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, solder, groove, crimp, and glue piping systems.

  • Ensure proper tools for job are assembled at the work site.

  • Understand proper installation methods of pipe systems and related equipment.

  • Proper care and handling of equipment used on site.

  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.

  • Take direction from Team Leads

  • We value flexibility, so you’ll also be ready to take on other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Journeyperson Plumber with 2+ years' experience
  • Commercial and Industrial construction experience
  • Experience working on renovations and modifications on commercial projects
  • Experience with hydronic systems
  • Mechanical/boiler room experience
  • A strong safety record.
  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals and work in a team.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets: Fall Protection, WHMIS 2015, Elevated Work Platform, and Level 1 First Aid
