KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review work orders for specifications and prepare / set up brake press machine
- Calculate bend allowances of steel (including stainless steel) and aluminum
- Blueprint reading and understanding drawings
- Select tooling and sequence multiple bends
- Load and unload machines
- Measure and verify parts after bending
- Work with precision measuring tool, such as calipers, tape measure and/or height gauge
- Perform minor maintenance in work area in accordance with company standards and manufacturers machine recommendations
- Maintain work area in a clean and safe manner.
Assist in other duties when required
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 - 2 years previous work-related experience
- Possess some knowledge and ability to identify fabrication industry metals
- Must be detailed oriented with high standards in quality
- High attention to dimensions detail
- High in competency in math skills specifically in fractions
- Excellent communication skills written & verbal
- Must be able to read tape measures
- Must be able to prioritize and organize workload
