Salary Range**:** $7,148 - $9,291 Monthly
Grade**:** MCP.06.
The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety is seeking dynamic and innovative professionals to manage and oversee security and daily operations to fill two (2) vacancies at the Provincial Correctional Centre in Saskatoon.
The Assistant Deputy Director of Operations is responsible for operational leadership, ensuring that facility and community security and safety standards are maintained, and a rehabilitative and reintegration program focus is supported within the respective centre. Under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Operations and in keeping with the Ministry's strategic plan, you will ensure the safety of inmates and staff through consistent application of policy and procedures; carry out the mission, goals, and objectives of the centre in a manner to meet the needs of offenders; and lead and manage the human resources on shift by maintaining positive and effective working relationships with a diverse workforce.
To qualify for this position, you will have considerable education and/or training in the human services field and have demonstrated experience in the criminal justice system responding to males and females in conflict with the law and will have acted in a supervisory capacity for considerable periods of time.
