About the role
The Divisional ERP Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of ERP consultants. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the team is providing exceptional service to clients, while also ensuring that all ERP processes are in compliance with relevant industry standards. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of ERP processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of ERP consultants.

Ensure all client implementations are managed within the statement of work. Ensuring implementations stay within scope and budget.

Provide exceptional service to clients.
-
Ensure that all client support issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
-
Develop and implement policies and procedures for the ERP team.
-
Provide training and development opportunities for team members. Example: Intacct training, upskill on modules.
-
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that ERP processes are integrated with overall business operations.
-
Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in ERP.
-
Ability to guide and lead team of ERP consultants and all Project Managers on projects, drive outcomes and achieve goals; Weekly catch up meetings with team and Operations Manager.

Give input and help develop templates and tools required for implementation of client systems.
-
Manage day-to-day activities of team by planning, assigning, directing work.
-
Manage teams’ performance to meet and exceed all client and company expectations; Operations Manager to guide.
-
Identify areas of opportunities to focus on improved performance.
-
Discussing with team their individual performance appraisals and taking corrective action plans, where necessary. Constructively engaging with each team member on a monthly basis to discuss ratings, review development goals, resolve issues before they become serious problems and maintain good relationship.

Find ways to enhance the teams’ work quality and productivity.

Maintain a professional appearance and work environment at all times.

Attend all scheduled AWCape team exercises and meetings in support of business efficiency.

Recommend changes when necessary and assist in implementation of new processes.

Work out team Performance Measurements and have quarterly reviews with team and Operations manager.

Ensure staff backup process is in place during leave cycles.

Decide and manage overall third party ERP and related technology stack.

Employee retention rate: This measures the manager's ability to create a positive work environment, to attract and retain high-performing team members, and to minimize employee turnover.

Client satisfaction rate: This measures the manager's ability to meet the needs and expectations of clients, to provide high-quality consulting services, and to maintain positive relationships with clients.

Productivity rate: This measures the manager's ability to maximize the productivity of their team, to optimize processes, and to minimize waste.

Upskill rate: This measures the manager’s ability to upskill him/herself and the ERP team, ensuring everyone is certified in all aspects of Sage 300 and Intacct and any third party applications.

Team Revenue Growth rate: This measures the average growth in revenue generated per consultant per month. This would measure the manager's ability to effectively lead and manage the consultants, as well as their ability to drive value added services and revenue for the company.

Qualifications:

This appointment is for an ERP professional who is experienced in working as an ERP consultant, with experience in managing consulting resources (planning & control), including Project Management and Quality Control of ERP implementations.

At least 5 years’ experience in ERP implementations & support with solid understanding of ERP principles, processes and data.
-
Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong understanding of ERP processes and regulations.
-
Experience with Sage 300, Intacct and other ERP systems.

Formal post-matric qualification with ERP consulting qualification.

Undergraduate degree or diploma in Accounting preferred.
