Job Title: Director Sales - Canada
POSITION SUMMARY:
Flint Group’s mission is to bring color to the world through innovative and sustainable Packaging and Print Media product development and manufacturing. We are looking to expand our team with a Director of Sales for Packaging Ink Sales.
As the Director of Sales for Packaging Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the packaging printing industry. You will lead a team of sales representatives, establish strong relationships with key customers, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets and objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate target markets, increase market share, and achieve revenue goals for packaging ink products.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to drive performance, meet sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including label printers, converters, and brand owners, to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis and Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth, anticipate challenges, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and acquiring new customers, expanding product offerings, and entering new market segments.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and generate timely sales reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Product Knowledge and Training: Stay updated on product offerings, features, and benefits, and provide ongoing training and support to the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and deliver seamless customer experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent industry experience. MBA a plus.

Proven track record of success in sales management, with at least 5 years of experience in the packaging industry or related field.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve results.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
-
Results-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel up to 70% as needed.
