Working under the direction of senior members of the Sustainable Investing team, you will support key facets of sustainability integration across the investment lifecycle, including sustainability reporting, due diligence across asset classes, and research & insights on priority sustainability themes. This role provides an opportunity for an intellectually curious and analytically rigorous professional to contribute to IMCO’s sustainability strategy, working in a collaborative, high-performance environment and engaging across internal and external stakeholders. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for: Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure Support IMCO’s sustainability reporting and disclosure strategy, including data collection, validation, and analysis across asset classes Contribute to the advancement of reporting aligned with leading frameworks, including development of metrics, processes, and controls to enhance transparency Assist in responding to internal and external stakeholder requests, including clients, partners, and industry initiatives Due Diligence & Investment Support Assist in sustainability due diligence for new investment opportunities, working with deal teams to analyze risks and opportunities of investment Support the preparation of investment materials and sustainability assessments for investment committee processes Contribute to the assessment and ongoing monitoring of sustainability-related portfolio performance, including identifying key risks and value creation opportunities Work collaboratively with investment teams to integrate sustainability considerations into underwriting and asset management workflows Research & Insights Conduct research and analysis on key sustainability topics (e.g., climate transition, biodiversity, human capital), helping shape IMCO’s evolving sustainability approach and worldview Distill complex sustainability trends, policies, and market developments into clear, decision-useful insights for investment professionals Support the development of tools, frameworks, and thought leadership that translate sustainability insights into investment-relevant outputs Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Work in a complex stakeholder environment, collaborating with investment teams, risk, legal, and external partners to advance sustainability initiatives Build and maintain strong working relationships across internal teams to foster alignment on sustainability priorities What you will bring: 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in investment management, consulting, or a related field Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, environmental studies, engineering, or a related discipline Additional designations (CFA etc.), or working towards those designations, are valued, but not required Foundational understanding of sustainable investing principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and drive to clear insights and outcomes Strong research capabilities, including the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into decision-useful outputs Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to a broad stakeholder group High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment A collaborative mindset, with demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams and build strong relationships in a dynamic environment Why join IMCO’s Sustainable Investing team? The placement within the range is determined by the range of market pay for the specific position, as well as the candidate's knowledge, skillset and experience relative to the requirements of the position and to internal peers.
