The Role - Making Every Space Work Better We’re looking for a hands-on, organized professional who enjoys being the connection point between tenants, contractors, and the operations team. You take pride in keeping properties safe, well-maintained, and running efficiently, while supporting development projects and capital improvements. From coordinating day-to-day property inspections, service requests, and tenant turnover preparation to managing project documentation, budgets, and reports, you bring structure, care, and follow-through to every detail.
You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities, collaborating across teams, and using digital tools to track schedules, communications, and records. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and energized by maintaining high-quality property operations and supporting successful development initiatives, you’ll thrive as a Property Operations and Development Coordinator.
Availability or Travel Requirements This role requires flexibility to work from both office and on-site locations. Occasional travel to property sites or meetings with investors, sellers, or other stakeholders may be required, with the ability to work flexibly between office settings and on-site property locations.
Salary Range - $59,000 - $65,000
What You’ll Be Doing - Every Day is Game Day Departmental Duties
-Property Operations & Site Maintenance:
- Conduct regular property visits to maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks: cleaning, debris removal, minor repairs, and general site upkeep.
- Maintain exterior areas including walkways, parking areas, lighting, and building access points.
- Oversee property maintenance and ensure building inspection reports are filed.
- Support seasonal maintenance, including exterior cleaning and winter site safety monitoring.
-Property Inspections & Monitoring:
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety concerns, or operational deficiencies.
- Document site conditions and report maintenance needs to management.
- Coordinate with service providers and contractors as required.
-Tenant Turnover & Property Preparation:
- Assist with cleaning and preparing spaces during tenant move-outs and vacancies.
- Ensure units and common areas are ready for new tenants or operational use.
-Development & Project Support:
- Coordinate property improvements, capital repairs, and development projects.
- Maintain organized records of architectural, landscape, and engineering plans.
- Maintain project documentation, including permits, approvals, agreements, and consultant reports.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules and meeting minutes.
-Financial & Administrative Support:
- Assist in preparing and tracking project budgets.
- Review contractor invoices, proposals, and construction payment certificates for accuracy.
- Support processing and tracking of project-related payments and documentation.
-Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain records of property visits, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Organize and maintain project and operational documentation.
- Provide regular updates to management on property conditions and project progress.
What You Bring - Skills That Turn Heads
- 1–3 years of experience in property maintenance, facilities support, construction support, or property operations.
- Valid Ontario G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Comfortable performing hands-on outdoor work year-round, including site visits and property upkeep.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of building maintenance or construction processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project).
- Willingness to travel periodically and stay overnight as required.
