Teacher (Inclusive Classroom) Intermediate/Secondary
About the role
Fawkes Academy is an Independent School for Inclusive Education Students. This teaching position supports inclusive education students through our campus in Vancouver. Our Teachers are supported by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) who are skilled and experienced in providing programming and behaviour support where required.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of full time Inclusive Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, at our Vancouver location. Experience supporting learners with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other inclusive education designations is required. This classroom supports up to 8 Intermediate and Secondary students with individual education plans in a 1:1 support ratio.
**Qualification and Experience **
- BC teacher certification
- Experience supporting learners with an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis
- Ability to create IEPs and Learning Updates using assessment reports and data
- Experience supporting ELL students (preferred)
- Experience supporting both verbal and non-verbal students (preferred)
Roles and Responsibilities
- In-person Inclusive Education Teacher for an estimated 8 students
- Liaising with Principal, Vice Principal, BCBAs, and SLP to ensure curriculum and programming are in place
- Ongoing case management of each student's program, ensuring correct implementation and monitoring of each individual education plan
- Formal reporting through IEPs and Learning Updates
- Ongoing contact with a student's family
- Teaching grades 4-12
**Compensation **
$60,000 to $90,000 salary will be commensurate with experience.
Hours
1.0 FTE.
