Accounting Administrator – Accounts Payables
Are you ready to join a large and growing team of dynamic, performance driven accounting professionals?
As an accounting administrator on our accounts payables team, you will be responsible for functions related to payment issuance via electronic funds transfer (EFT), wire transfer and paper cheques. Review daily reports, assess risks on payments and respond to inquiries. Assist in processing large volume of invoices in a timely manner.
In this role, the successful candidates is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote-first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:
- Prepare monthly payment run schedule for both merchandise and non-merchandise payable.
- Process scheduled payment batches for all payment types timely
- Process large volume of invoices in a timely manner, investigate and resolve invoice or payment related inquiries
- Payment reconciliation - verify electronic payment files are received and processed by third party provider. Validate outgoing funds from third party matches our release schedule and funding requirements.
- Train and work collaboratively with offshore processing team. Assist the offshore team with any process questions or system issues.
- Monitor and manage relevant mailboxes and respond to vendor/business inquiries timely.
- Develop procedures for all payment and invoicing related tasks, issue resolutions, and escalations research.
- Work cross-functionally with business teams to identify root causes of payment or invoice issues and identify solutions.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as needed
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of accounting or admin experience in a medium to large organization
- Adaptability in a high-volume, fast paced and dynamic environment
- Experience in navigating complex systems to obtain information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic to intermediate MS Office

$42,000.00 - $45,000.00
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
