About Abitibi Geophysics
Abitibi Geophysics has over 30 years of experience in delivering solutions to geoscience challenges. We offer a complete range of geophysical services for surveying, data processing, exploration-targeted interpretation, geotechnical, engineering and environment. We help our clients discover any mineralization types, define overburden or ice thickness, locate buried objects, etc.
We acquire the latest geophysical technologies, and continually develop inhouse methods and equipment to maximize the discovery of new targets at depth or that are undercover, from surface or in boreholes. To name a few examples, our TDEM technologies, such as ARMIT-TDEM probe and the InfiniTEM® XL loop configuration performs successfully in identifying targets that are later confirmed by drilling. Our 3D resistivity and induced polarization survey system DasVision, uses wireless receivers to enhance the exploration effectiveness and its advanced processing renders detailed sampling and high-density datasets. 99% of the IP data surveyed using DasVision is accurate, enabling to eliminate human error while collecting and processing the data. Our digital tri-axial borehole ARMIT TDEM probe simultaneously acquires B-field and dB/dt on all three axes in a single pass is a breakthrough in the mineral exploration industry. Our surveying options go on: OmniVision, H2HIP, OreVision, AeroVision... Visit our website for all the details as we also offer exclusive services such as Radio Imaging Tomography, Gravilog and more.
We provide a total service package: survey design, data acquisition, compilation, project reporting, interpretation, modeling and inversion and quality control. Our work is conducted efficiently, safely, and reliably in compliance with an ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System and the EcoLogo Certification for the Mining Industry. Major mining companies approve our comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety program, and environmental protection awareness practices.
