What You'll Bring To The Table
Proficiency with IBM Mainframe technologies including JCL, COBOL, SQL, DB2, Endevor, File-AID, and CA-7 Experience with tools such as INSYNC, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow Awareness of AI tools like GitHub Copilot and VSCode, with the ability to leverage AI in development Strong designer skills: capable of analyzing IMS segments, creating detailed designs, leading junior developers, participating in end-to-end field mapping, and deploying code Solid understanding of DB2 objects and processing, with the ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot DB2-related issues Excellent soft skills: eager to learn independently, adaptable, problem-solver, and comfortable working in a pod with limited mainframe exposure Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience with mainframe development, ideally 4+ years in similar roles
Nice To Have
Knowledge of Kafka and RESTful APIs to enhance integration capabilities

Self-motivated learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and environments Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting No travel requirements for this position
