What You'll Do

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated MATERIAL PLANNER II with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive, HVAC, Powersports, Aerospace, or similar industries). The ideal candidate will be a dynamic professional with expertise in material planning and cross-functional collaboration. The role demands an analytical mindset, a solid grasp of ERP/MRP systems (preferably EPICOR), and fluency in both English and French.

Key Responsibilities:

· Material Planning: Develop and maintain material delivery schedules, manage OTBs (Open-to-Buy), and track KPIs to ensure operational efficiency and inventory readiness.

· Key Requirements : Apply Inventory Classification techniques and evaluate shortages to support production continuity throughout the product lifecycle.

· Purchase Order Dates Management: Oversee the purchase orders and validate the dates per the OTB reports generated and an understanding of PFEP is required.

· SIOP Coordination: Contribute actively to SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) goals, especially in achieving inventory turnover and ensuring constraints are factored into material delivery plans.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Engineering, PMO, Sales, Production, Warehousing, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth operations and project success.

· Process Improvement: Drive process enhancements, contribute to CI initiatives, and support change management efforts across the planning and procurement functions.

· Change Management: Possess knowledge on the concepts of Change management , Configuration management, JSBOM(s) and Inventory management principles.

Requirements:

· An ideal candidate would possess 2+ years of experience with a master’s degree in industrial engineering / engineering management / any relevant field (or) 3+ years of relevant experience in the field of Manufacturing (HVAC /Automotive/Powersports/Aerospace/relevant field)

· Expertise in Power BI, MS Excel (Advanced), Power Queries and basics/understanding of SQL.

· Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; EPICOR is preferred.

· Results driven, and ability to work in an agile environment, with strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, business acumen, mitigation planning, and conflict management.

· Effective communication skills in English and French, with the ability to engage with vendors locally and internationally.
