Senior Events Producer

Full-time, perm Hybrid, 2 days/week in office Location: Queens Quay Salary: $78-83,000 + bonus

Our client is looking for a Senior Events Producer to join their team on a full-time basis. The Senior Event Planner is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing high-impact events that support sales and business objectives. Serving as the team's event planning expert, this role provides leadership in RFPs, vendor selection, budget management, and food & beverage strategy across all events. The position oversees complex programs, including industry events, trade shows, hosted experiences, and partnership activations, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and brand standards. The Senior Event Planner also manages member participation opportunities and drives the successful delivery of key event initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead strategic business development events, including partner activations, hosted programs, and trade shows, to drive sales results. Align event strategies with sales goals, market priorities, and budgets. Improve the impact, scalability, and innovation of event programs. Provide strategic input and industry best practices to support departmental planning. Oversee partner participation opportunities from planning through execution. Lead strategic sourcing and vendor management for major events, including RFP development, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and partnership oversight. Oversee event budgets across multiple programs, ensuring effective forecasting, financial management, cost optimization, and reporting. Provide strategic direction and approval for food and beverage programs, establishing best practices that align with brand standards, guest experience goals, and budget requirements. Manage the planning and execution of complex events and activations, ensuring seamless delivery, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement through post-event evaluation. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leading partner engagement and participation initiatives while promoting organizational priorities, including diversity, equity, and inclusion. Monitor industry trends and emerging best practices to drive innovation, enhance event experiences, and improve program effectiveness.

Skills and Experience

5+ years' experience with end-to-end event planning, strategy, managing, and execution. Extensive experience with planning highly curated, high-touch and thoughtful events. Advanced experience in food & beverage strategy, planning, and oversight. Experience with CRM software is a major asset. Proficient with Google Workspace, Monday.com, and virtual meeting software's. Demonstrated experience in leading RFP process, vendor negotiations, and high-value program delivery. Advanced experience in budget development, financial management, and cost optimization. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
