Regional Vice-President, Advanced Sales - ON and MB: In this role, you will be responsible for growing the High Net Worth (HNW) business, with the objective of increasing production and promoting sales to meet the advanced markets regional sales plan. You will manage relationships with key advisors, providing advanced case technical support and practice management for those aligned with them. Internally, you will connect advisors to the necessary resources, tools, and education to enhance their professional success. You will work in collaboration with PPI’s HNW’s team of experts, including the Advanced Markets, Advanced Underwriting, and Professional Services teams as well as the Mass Market and Strategic Relationships sales teams.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage on-going advisor relationships while ensuring that advisor needs are serviced at the highest level.
- Support the value-added service culture to assist the needs of advisors working in the business owner, family enterprise and high net-worth market.
- Provide leadership and direction in building an effective and synergistic team of expert resources such as accountants, actuaries, underwriters and lawyers in the application of leading-edge financial solutions to meet the complex financial objectives of our advisors’ clients.
- Achieve annual production targets through outstanding relationship management and on-going business development efforts.
- Identify and communicate local marketplace issues and trends to the Vice-President, Advanced Markets.
- Collaborate with professional counterparts working in the broad market to ensure that advisors have access to the appropriate resources and services.
- Engage in actions that encourage, reflect and align with PPI’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments to our advisors, their clients and our employees.
Job Knowledge / Work Experience:
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the marketing and sales of advanced insurance products
- Significant experience in building and running an insurance/brokerage office
- Excellent understanding of the marketing side of sales/business
- Technical knowledge of tax planning concepts (capital gains, shareholder agreements, etc.) required
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Superior interpersonal skills and with proven ability as a relationship builder
- Effective communication skills; strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial attitude with the initiative to be innovative and creative with developing new ideas and concepts
- Demonstrated ability to flourish in environments of significant change
- Demonstrated skill as a creative problem-solver
Education, Certifications or Licenses:
- Minimum undergraduate degree in a business related program
- Industry designations required, e.g. CFP, CLU, ChFC
- Must hold a valid Life License
