Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network & Security Specialist to support, operate, and evolve enterprise-grade network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on technical expertise with proven experience in delivering complex security projects and ensuring high availability of critical systems.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and provide advanced support for network security infrastructure, including:
Firewalls
Web proxies
VPN gateways
Load balancers
Lead and deliver network security projects from design through implementation
Provide on-call (on-duty) support for critical incidents and escalations
Ensure the stability, performance, and security of enterprise network environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and improvements
Required Qualifications
CCNP or CCIE certification (Security or Enterprise track)
Industry certifications in security technologies (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or Check Point)
CISSP certification or equivalent recognized security certification

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering
10+ years of experience in network engineering and network security
Including operational support and project delivery
IT service management certification (e.g., ITIL)
Language Requirement
Strong communication skills in both French and English are required

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, as well as professional licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are made based on the specifics of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $60,000–$115,000. This position is open.
