The Role
In this role, you will take ownership of the full client lifecycle, managing every step from market discovery and first conversations to shaping engagements and growing long-term partnerships. You won’t simply close deals; you’ll build the business by understanding what the market needs next and making it happen. Your responsibilities will focus on relationship building with both new and existing clients through activities spanning business development, account strategy, pipeline creation, opportunity qualification, solution shaping with our consultants, proposal and pitch leadership, pricing and negotiation, ecosystem and partnership development, brand and thought leadership activities, sales operations and forecasting, and ensuring a smooth handover to delivery with ongoing client satisfaction and expansion. You’ll work closely with consultants, leadership, marketing, and the global Client Growth community to drive Netlight’s long-term, sustainable growth.

Qualifications we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree
- Approx. 1-4 years of relevant working experience
- Verbal and written (native) fluency in English
- Based in Toronto, with a desire to be working in-person
- Eligible to work in Ontario, Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for people, entrepreneurship, project management, business development, sales and the tech community
- Relevant experience, for example within entrepreneurship, sales, business development, account management, go-to-market, start-ups, networking, consulting or similar
- A good communicator, naturally building trust and connection
- Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset, having a strong inner drive with a great ability to cooperate
- Structured yet adaptive, taking responsibility for a dynamic learning environment

Compensation & Benefits
- Transparent salary development throughout your career with semi-annual compensation reviews
- For this role, candidates can expect a starting base salary of CA$95,000 – CA$120,000. Total starting compensation ranges from CA$95,000 – CA$140,000, consisting of base salary and variable salary. Actual compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and role level.
- Variable salary is our version of a bonus program and, it is paid out bi-weekly together with your base salary. The amount is based in part on your seniority and on the group performance of Netlight
- 20 paid vacation days prorated per calendar year
- 10 paid Care Days (sick/personal days) per year with unlimited additional unpaid sick days
- Extended Health Benefits and Dental Care including an additional CA$1,000 HSA and CA$500 Wellness Account (taxable)
