St Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton is seeking interested psychiatrists to work in our Acute Psychiatry (General Psychiatry), Outpatient Service and CPC (Community Psychiatry Clinic

In this position you will:

  • Manage a caseload of patients within a general psychiatry outpatient service
  • Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team which includes nursing and allied staff
  • Participate in weekly interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences

The successful candidate will hold a valid Ontario CPSO license and be a trained psychiatrist with FRCPC or equivalent. There will be an expectation that the physician will be eligible for a Faculty position with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, McMaster University, and that they will have an interest and aptitude for teaching and/or clinical research.
