Expressions of Interest – District Physiotherapy
School District 60 (Peace River North) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified licensed school psychologists to provide contract services within the school setting.
Services will commence September 2026 and will continue up to and including June 25, 2027.
School Psychology is a specialized area of practice focused on supporting student learning, behavior, and mental health within educational settings. School Psychologists work collaboratively with students, families, and school teams to assess cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning, and to provide recommendations that inform educational planning and interventions. School Psychologists must be members in good standing with the College of Health Care Professionals of British Columbia. Services to the District may include, but are not limited to
-
Provide psycho-educational assessments of students in K-12 Schools. Assessments must
be conducted in-person within our district located in Fort St. John, BC

Conduct psycho-educational or updated assessments for students who may qualify for
CLBC within the graduation program

Provide ongoing collaborative planning for students and classrooms and assist with pre-
referral interventions
-
Collaboration with school-based and/or district personnel to gather classroom-based data,
design or implement instructional strategies/interventions

May assist and provide additional professional development support for educators and
support staff

Collaboration and liaise with parents, schools and learning services with the required
documentation for assessments
