Vacancy: This position is being added to expand our team in preparation for the upcoming busy season and does not reflect a current vacancy
Compensation: $21.00-22.00 per hour

What you Will be Doing:

As a Grounds Maintenance team member, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our exterior properties are safe, welcoming, and beautifully maintained throughout the season. Your hands-on work directly contributes to creating exceptional first impressions and enhancing the overall guest experience across our venues and event spaces.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of exterior property grounds to ensure exceptional guest appeal
  • Care for gardens and seasonal planters, including planting flowers and greenery, mulching, watering, weeding, and ongoing upkeep
  • Perform routine landscaping duties such as mowing lawns, pruning shrubs and trees, leaf blowing, sweeping parking lots and walkways, and watering plants
  • Uphold the exterior appearance of buildings, including washing exterior windows and pressure washing designated areas
  • Conduct regular garbage pick-up and remove debris from gardens, lawns, and surrounding property areas
  • Empty, clean, and polish cigarette receptacles and other outdoor fixtures
  • Assist with preparing outdoor spaces for seasonal transitions, including spring set-up and fall/winter preparation
  • Identify grounds or safety concerns, recommend improvements, and communicate updates to the appropriate teams
  • Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and responsibly, ensuring proper care and storage
  • Participate in safety discussions and proactively address priority concerns to maintain a safe outdoor environment
  • Support a collaborative team atmosphere and contribute to continuous improvement across property operations
  • Other duties as assigned

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • Previous experience in property maintenance/landscaping
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Valid G-class driver's license required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and extended periods of standing, walking, or crouching
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized workspaces
  • Hands-on, dependable, and safety-focused with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable assisting with event set-ups, tear-downs, and property maintenance tasks
  • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently and follow direction when required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Positive, professional attitude with strong communication skills
  • Flexible availability to work during the daytime both mid-week and on weekends
