#The Impact You’ll Have
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play an essential role in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll for team members across multiple provinces. By supporting daily operations, troubleshooting complex issues, and strengthening payroll data and reporting, you’ll help ensure a smooth experience for team members across the network.
This role contributes cross-functionally, collaborating with Payroll, Finance, HR, and clinic operations to improve processes, enhance data accuracy, and support key activities such as remittances, year-end, and analytics. Your work will directly influence payroll accuracy, workflow efficiency, and the confidence leaders have in payroll data.
#In This Role, You Will
- Assist the Senior Payment Analyst with remittance preparation (CRA, RQ, WCB / WSIB, EHT)
- Create & maintain predictive and other analytical tools and reports to support the Payroll function
- Investigate and resolve the more complex group retroactive payments and balancing issues
- Review, research and respond to complete all assigned service request tickets for the Payroll team
- Identify, implement, and document process improvements and assist with payroll system testing
- Work collaboratively with other Payroll team members to support and share best practices
- Execute special projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned by the Payroll Manager and above
- Assist with payroll training and create / update payroll documentation
- Lead and assist in year-end balancing / reporting
#What You’ll Bring
- 1–3 years of experience processing payroll using a payroll management or HRIS system; experience with Workday and Netsuite is considered an asset
- Strong computing skills including MS Office
- Professional certification/designation preferred, or a willingness to enroll in Payroll certification
- Customer focused approach with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and experience with timely solutioning of escalated issues using a ticketing system
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-starter and resourceful; ability to adapt and learn new technology and processes quickly
- Collaborative, action-oriented, with strong functional / technical skills
- Nice to have - Bilingual in English and French

The salary range for this position is $60,000.00 CAD to $70,000.00 CAD annually. Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
