We currently have a vacancy for a dedicated and driven Retail Energy Operations Manager to be a part of the ONIT family.
Role Summary
This is a full-time Retail Energy Operations Manager position, responsible for managing day-to-day operations across customer enrollment, contract validation, and vendor coordination within a retail energy environment. This role ensures operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency while supporting cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end customer enrollment and contract processing
- Review and validate customer documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and internal teams
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Monitor operational KPIs and generate performance reports
- Support compliance with Ontario energy retail regulations (OEB)
- Lead and mentor a team
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in operations, energy retail, utilities, telecom, or other contract-heavy industries
- Strong experience in process optimization, workflow management, and high-volume operations
- Proficiency in Excel and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot); experience with Power BI is an asset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and resource management skills
- Experience with project management and strategic planning
- Background in customer service and/or IT is considered an asset
- Post-secondary education required; a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is considered an asset
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum plus potential for bonus
