About the role
Role Profile:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our AWS infrastructure, DevOps practices, and assist with our software development security posture while supporting the broader engineering ecosystem across our platforms.
This role sits at the center of our technical stack. You will ensure our infrastructure is secure, reliable, scalable, and well maintained across the SDLC and the tools we use.
We operate primarily as a Salesforce-driven organization, but we run a large surrounding ecosystem including AWS services, data infrastructure, communications platforms, and third-party integrations. This role is responsible for helping ensure that ecosystem runs smoothly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage cloud infrastructure within AWS, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code to provision and manage cloud resources consistently and securely.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or comparable automation tools to support efficient and reliable deployments.
- Support and maintain integrations between Salesforce, AWS services, and third-party platforms via APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and integration issues across development, staging, and production environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data teams, and platform stakeholders to improve development workflows, deployment reliability, and system performance.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- ~5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong expertise with AWS across core services and cloud architecture.
- EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and related infrastructure
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or similar.
- Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices (DevSecOps is a bonus).
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
- Experience upgrading and maintaining backend and frontend dependencies while maintaining system stability and security.
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI-assisted development tools (such as Cursor, Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) into your engineering workflow.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with a distributed team.
AI-Augmented Engineering :
We believe modern engineers should actively leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and improve system quality.
The ideal candidate already integrates AI into their daily workflow and understands how to combine AI assistance with strong engineering judgment.
We are looking for someone who understands that AI is not a replacement for engineering expertise, but a tool that amplifies strong technical judgment and domain knowledge.
