What this job involves:

We're looking for a sharp, adaptable Operations & Programs Specialist to serve as the operational and financial backbone for our Insights & Data Products organization. You'll be the force multiplier that enables our product, engineering, and business teams to move fast, make smart decisions, and drive toward our 2030 vision.

This isn't a routine operations role. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where resourcefulness matters, ambiguity is normal, and your work directly impacts our ability to deliver innovative solutions.

This is a remote based role and supports a team that spans global times zones. Flexibility to work varied hours is needed.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage the monthly budget process end-to-end— forecasting, variance analysis, and capex planning. Responsible for tracking spend across operational and capitalizable costs, present financial insights to leadership, and build models that inform strategic investment decisions. Own vendor relationships, POs, and invoice management while maintaining tight controls and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Build and manage tracking systems and governance frameworks that provide real-time visibility into resource utilization from approvals and compliance to pipeline reporting and hiring velocity monitoring. flagging risks when critical roles threaten roadmap delivery.
  • Be the business Intelligence & reporting partner with the BI team to define, build, and deploy dashboards that matter. Translate operational needs into data-rich visualizations for program managers, product teams, and executives. Make critical operational and financial data accessible and actionable.
  • Manage team communications and SharePoint site. Publish product roadmaps, sprint calendars, metrics dashboards, team updates, and recognition programs. Create presentations with compelling data visualizations and strategic narratives. Build automated reporting in Smartsheet that keeps everyone informed.
  • Identify areas for improvement and spot inefficiencies. Design lightweight processes that balance agility with governance. Stay current on AI trends in program management and operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years proven experience in managing Operations, Finance, or Programs within product development environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or Information Systems,
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven with obsessive attention to data accuracy, continuous improvement mindset, and ability to excel under pressure in fast-paced AI/analytics environments
  • Strong financial acumen including P&Ls, LBAs, ROIs, budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor/invoice management with ability to connect operational metrics to strategic goals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making approach and systems thinking for interconnected operational solutions
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management capabilities across all organizational levels, including senior executives, with both technical and non-technical audiences. Including building power point executive level presentations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and basic data analysis capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Past work experience in technology programs or as a business analyst
  • Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Workday/HRIS systems, Python automation, FinancialForce, AI & AI Agents
  • Project management experience with Agile/sprint methodologies and proficiency in operational management software, ERP systems, and BI tools
  • Strategic planning, risk management, and KPI tracking experience with ability to create impactful portfolio-level presentations
  • Commercial real estate industry experience

Estimated compensation for this position:

120,000.00 – 150,000.00 CAD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
