About the role
Senior Full Stack Developer
📍 Toronto, ON (Remote flexibility) | Full-time
If you've ever felt boxed into "just frontend" or "just backend," this is the opposite of that. We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to genuinely own features end to end — from database schema to the screen a user taps on their phone. You'll work in a modern TypeScript stack, inside a monorepo built to keep web and mobile in sync, with real architectural decisions still up for grabs. And this isn't a team bolting AI tools on for optics — Claude Code and Cursor are part of how this team ships daily, and you'd bring strong instincts about how to use them well, not just fast.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop, and maintain full stack web and mobile applications Build scalable APIs and backend services supporting modern frontend frameworks Architect and maintain a shared monorepo codebase across web and mobile Develop reusable, high-quality components used on both platforms Implement authentication systems and multi-tenant data models Design efficient database schemas and manage backend services in PostgreSQL Build and manage background job processing systems Conduct code reviews and help set the engineering bar for the team Collaborate closely with product and design to ship features efficiently Use AI-assisted development tools daily to improve productivity and code quality
What We're Looking For
5+ years of full stack software development experience Strong end-to-end TypeScript experience Experience with Next.js 15 (App Router, React Server Components) and React Native/Expo PostgreSQL with Prisma ORM, and monorepo tooling such as Turborepo or pnpm workspaces Experience with modern API frameworks (Hono), type-safe RPC (tRPC/oRPC), and background job systems (BullMQ or similar) Daily production use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor Strong system design thinking and clear communication skills
